Costa Rica' Traveling Within A Country Of Pure Paradise

By Elenor Q. Reynolds

After a long flight we were so relieved to arrive in Costa Rica, the land of paradise and pure tranquility. We had heard many wonderful things about the small, developing country in Central America, which is otherwise known as 'Rich Coast' and we were ecstatic to explore!

We had read that thanks to Costa Rica's topography one can be on the beautiful, white, sandy beaches one day, then the next on a trek through the vast jungle and then finishing on top of a mountain. This was going to be the perfect place in which to spend our vacation, away from the stresses and strains of everyday life, completely enthralled in this magical country.

Our first destination was La Fortuna, San Carlos! We were immediately captivated by the 1633 meter volcano, known as 'Volcan Arenal'. The volcano is active and that night we were blown away by what we saw. Hot lava was actually spilling out from one of its three craters and seeping down the side, creating worm like patterns that glowed in the night sky. It was a truly incredible sight!

After a good night sleep at one of the observatory lodges, set right at the foot of the volcano, we woke and drew back the curtains to reveal that what we had encountered the night before had in fact been a reality; there it stood towering high in all of its glory.

After our horseback ride, which took us through a number of cultivated areas it was time to get our walking boots on. The trek down to 'La Fortuna' waterfall was a steep one and lasted for about 30 minutes but it was all worth it when we were standing at the foot of one of the most powerful waterfalls that I had ever seen.

The panoramic views were really quite spectacular and it made the bumpy ride up the mountain side to Monteverde all worth it in the end. I felt so connected to nature and at complete peace with my inner self. It was a truly, unforgettable experience!

In the distance we could see the end of the dirt road and we both smiled with excitement because we knew that we had arrived on top of the green mountain. Destination number two! After checking in to a cool, little family run hostel we decided to make plans for the next day. If it wouldn't have been for the friendly staff, I think that we would still be trying to figure what to choose in a place where boredom doesn't exist! Time to sleep and recharge our batteries!

I have never felt so free until that morning when I was speeding from tree to tree without a care in the world. There were zip lines, rappelling, a tarzan swing and nothing but clean air and nature. Bliss! About to tip off the edge of the platform, I did wonder what was going through my head but after the one second vertical drop all I knew was that 'I WAS TARZAN', swinging amongst the trees.

That night, after a wonderful day spent in the forest we were captivated by one of the most astonishing sunsets. The panoramic views, as a result of being situated so high up on the mountain top, only added to increase the intensity of the colors that merged together, illuminating the night sky. It was a magical experience and despite the photos that we took, the real experience can never be captured and framed, but it will always remain in our hearts. Costa Rica is a place a pure tranquility! - 31529

Teachers also need fast Internet access and a trusty web camera. They also need to be patient, qualified, and prepared.

Many excellent reasons exist to learn any language, including English, online. It's fairly inexpensive, convenient, flexible, easy to maintain, and learning or teaching is able to be done from anywhere. Thus, as to why the need for online language courses is increasing there is no secret.

And because learning takes place at home, all a student needs for lessons is at hand already.

The costs are relatively low, as well. Surely, fees charged by the instructor or institute or exist. However, this virtual kind of business normally requires less overhead than a typical brick-and-mortar business, and there usually aren't any other disingenuous costs. Many of these virtual institutes allow PayPal or credit card payment. And, as we all know, this kind of payment is safer and more secure than ever.

In contemporary times, being flexible is a key component to any success in life or business. And flexibility is one the key reasons people study online. Appointment times are flexible. Ways To Learn To Speak English

By Adriana Noton

The acquisition of a language is not simple, whether it's your first language or a second one. Regardless of what a lot of non-native English speakers the world over like to think, learning English is not easy, either. Those who wrongly think that to learn to speak English isn't difficult will find out quickly how wrong they are.

To begin, at a basic, communicative level, speaking English is not as difficult as speaking other languages is. Because so many people worldwide speak English, a multitude of accents and pronunciations can be heard even among native speakers. And because it's somewhat easy just to pick up basic English, people commit the mistake of believing that speaking English is easy.

Next, English grammar and sentence structure contain many rules. Yet, so many of these have exceptions to them that it's not easy to learn and remember them all. Further, when and how most of the rules can be enforced are not consistent because there is a lot flexibility. Because of these issues, rote memorization of English is ineffective.

Next, the pronunciation is also inconsistently followed. Because of its fluidity, pronunciation can differ greatly within even nearby regions of native-speaking countries. But mastering English pronunciation is essential to successfully mastering the language. Because of the fluidity, however, mastering the pronunciation is hard. It takes practice and diligence. And then more of each.

A fourth difficulty is recognizing the correct structure, grammar, and vocabulary usage, even when what is correct doesn't necessarily sound right. An example is split infinitives. It is taught in English class not use split infinitives, yet split infinitives are common in spoken English. This is because they're often used for emphasis or because it's thought to sound better.

A fifth issue is knowing when to use colloquial English and when to use proper English. Because celebrities often use proper English wrongly, this isn't easy. Many who are learning pick this up and then try to imitate. On the other hand, many professionals or academics don't know how to use slang or speak colloquially.

A sixth issue with learning English is the language "experts" out there who advertise that they have the best way to learn English fast. This is untrue, regardless of what proof they have showing how effective their program is. Don't fall for these scammers. Learning to use English properly, as with learning most other languages, takes time, effort, practice, patience, and good teaching.

English is a wonderful language. Because most native speakers are used to hearing a variety of accents, even from native speakers, hearing non-native speakers isn't too difficult. Therefore, if you really want to learn English, just a minimal effort will enable you to communicate on even a basic level.

However, if you want to progress your skills, it's going to require what everything else requires in order to master something. A strong foundation of the basics, practicing pronunciation daily, learning new vocabulary every day, and always trying, unafraid of your mistakes. Just don't forget - learning English is not easy. But you can make it seem easy by working hard. - 31529
